In Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Adam Jensen, the playable character, is whoever you want him to be; suave, sophisticated and righteous, or even, if you’re so inclined, petty, vain and insensitive to the grievances of the elderly.

The “Sentimental Value” achievement from the latest entry into the franchise comes from an early quest which has the player helping a grieving mother gain closure over the death of her daughter, who she assumes died under particularly shady circumstances.

While searching for clues as to the nature of the daughter’s death you come across her bracelet, one of the only identifying and personal heirlooms that the mother has left. Upon coming back to the mother you can either return the personal belonging to ease her sorrow... or keep it for yourself, gaining nothing but a sense of smug spite and zero in-game experience points in the process.
