11. Noob Saibot (Mortal Kombat)

Mortal Kombat has seen some shockingly bad fighters - or 'Kombatants', as they're known - over the years (Mokap, anybody?), but thankfully there's a method to Noob Saibot's madness.

The name is actually a combination of Ed Boon and John Tobias (creators of the franchise)'s names, but it just sounds a little bit too strange to anyone unfamiliar with this nugget of gaming trivia. Mortal Kombat X actually forwent including Noob Saibot whatsoever, despite him being quite the beloved inclusion in MK 9.

Here's to MK 11 seeing the return of one of MK's most formidable duos.
