Bullet-sponge bosses may be one of the most influential archetypes in gaming history, but that doesn't make them enjoyable to fight - not in this case, anyway.
Nope, after Borderlands opened up the idea of customising tens of thousands of weapons and finding your own personal favourites, The Destroyer just asks you to point anything its way and hold down the trigger.
Looking like a fresh wound pulled inside out, you could defeat this thing with a pistol if you just hung back enough. Its attacks were also super easy to dodge once you had enough distance, and plugging the thing until it died was the only 'tactic' you needed to employ.
Terrible.
