15 Football Manager Wonderkids Who Didn't Live Up To Expectations

5. Nicolás Millán

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsN3Ro39eeg Another player who burst onto the scene at an incredibly young age, making his debut at club level at the very tender age of 14 years and 9 months. A nimble player with quick feet and an equally quick mind, the future looked incredibly bright for the young Chilean. As is quite often the case, young players often get dubbed 'the new Ronaldo' and Millán - with an almost comical lack of self-awareness - did in fact state "i think my playing style is similar to his. I enjoy using the flanks and going past defenders and i'm particularly good at step-overs". Sadly for the Chilean his meteoric rise never developed much further and he has spent his career being a solid player in numerous South American leagues. However, he will be very fondly remembered by many of the dedicated fans of the FM franchise, as a great young signing many of us will have sought time and again. Due to him starting from such a young age, you could build a whole squad around the Chilean maestro and im sure many will have.
