15 Football Manager Wonderkids Who Didn't Live Up To Expectations

12. Kerlon

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6Yj7GoXPZw A wonderkid across multiple Football Manger titles and famed in reality for his 'seal dribble' whilst playing for Brazil's Cruzeiro, Kerlon was a player with trickery and confidence. He quickly became hot property and managed to secure a move to Europe with Italian giants Internazionale. Sadly for him though, he never managed to appear for the team in his entire time in Italy. This was possibly down to a plague of injuries but also perhaps down to him being perceived as something of a 'one trick pony.' Or should that be seal? Anyway, since leaving Inter in 2012 Kerlon has had spells in Brazil and most recently Japan. However, as of now, he is currently without a club. It's such a shame for a player with a lot of promise, who could've gone on to be a talismanic figure for a top team, fall so short of expectations. For most of us though, there will be memories of Kerlon from various Football Manager saves, where he became a great and lived up to his greatly-inflated billing. However, this is real life, and we'll have to make do with those seal dribble clips.
