15 Hilarious Voice Acting Fails In Horror Video Games
4. Michigan: Report From Hell
Michigan: Report From Hell is a Japanese title where you take control of a cameraman filming strange phenomena. The game received mixed reviews from critics and was not released in North America. But let's express sympathy for our friends from the USA as the game features one of the most entertaining examples of bad voice acting.
While the main character is voiceless, the player is accompanied by Jean-Philippe Brisco who cannot be killed during most of the game. Voiced by Greg Irwin, he manages to suck out all the terror we might be feeling due to his legendary ham-worthy performance.
Brisco gives a stutter that would make Scooby-Doo proud when he sees a monster creeping in behind his fellow reporter. His 'Oh my god,' is so cheesy that it matches the one found in Troll 2. What makes it even more hilarious is he repeats this line throughout the game, so good luck getting that out of your head.
Even upon witnessing multiple people dying, Brisco just never stops talking.
Michigan would have been a horror title lost in time but with Brisco's voice acting, the game has become part of numerous lists like this.
