1. Yume Nikki €“ Uboa

Yume Nikki is a Japanese game about travelling through the dreams of a young woman called Madotsuki. That should give you some idea of what kind of horrors we€™re going to be delving into. As weird and strange as this game gets, by far the most disturbing part involves Uboa. What exactly is Uboa, I hear you ask? Well, apparently, Uboa is an angry spirit that gets really, really irritated at people flicking lights on and off. So, at one point, you come across a tepee which you can enter. Inside is a little blond girl €“ not very dangerous, or scary. So you flick the lights off, just to be a jerk. You can do this several times in a row €“ but if you do, you WILL meet Uboa, and you will not come out of it unscathed. You flick the lights of for the final time, and BAM! €“ Uboa screeches into the room like a sandpaper tornado. You can€™t escape €“ the door is blocked, there€™s no other exit and even the lights don€™t work. Luckily, you can just touch Uboa to escape and return back to the normal worl-
