16 Hotly Anticipated Video Games Still Coming In 2015

16. Just Cause 3

With one hell of an in-game showing at E3 and a new release date of December 1st, Avalanche Studios' third instalment of the explosion-fest that is Just Cause should be a righteously fun one across the board. Initially it received a shaky reception following announcements that the 'story' would focus on leading man Rico Rodriguez' inner torment and moral quandaries around what it's like to return to his hometown and liberate it from the surrounding oppressors. Thankfully though as fans pointed out; we really just want more excuses to blow stuff up, and JC3 seems more than happy to deliver. The trademark grapple hook returns, this time round with the ability to tether multiple objects at once (three helicopters all being mashed into one giant fireball of molten metal, anyone?) alongside refining the combat whilst parachuting and doubling down on the amount of carnage you can pull off on-foot (the game straight up just gives you unlimited C4). Forgoing the storytelling tropes that can eat away at a game's enjoyment if the developer is attempting to bite off more than they can chew, Avalanche instead know exactly what they're doing with Just Cause, and it looks spectacular.
