15 Impossible PlayStation Trophies Nobody Unlocked

4. Wipeout HD - "Beat Zico"

Beat Zico
PS

Unlike many of the endurance tests required to unlock the other trophies on this list, Wipeout HD€™'s Beat Zico trophy could, theoretically, be unlocked in as little as 30 seconds. Requiring you to achieve a lap time equal to, or under, 30.82 seconds on the Anulpha Pass stage, at first the trophy just seems like another run of the mill time trial.

Of course, after your 100th attempt you€™ll be cursing your past self for ever being so naïve. The Anulpha Pass stage itself is a tricky beast, with each corner and straight offering new and inventive ways to make you fail. The track requires perfect timing and total concentration on your part, as even the slightest error will have you restarting from the beginning all over again.

Not only that but the 30 seconds or so the game gives you to unlock the trophy isn€™t exactly generous. Combine that challenge with the actual difficulty of mastering the track itself and you get nothing other than a recipe for a stress-induced aneurysm. Trust me, it€™s (probably) not worth it.
