15 Lies The Fallout Games Taught Us About The Real World

4. Drugs Have No Long-Term Consequences

We've already established that alcohol can only be beneficial to your health, but what about the rest of the drugs? Despite what the nineties taught us, winners do use drugs. You think you can win in a fight against the drugged-out Fiends sober? No, if you want to survive post apocalypse, you'll need to take a lot of drugs, but that's okay, because taking heavy amounts of performance enhancers like morphine and steroids will give you the edge you need to win, without coming with any pesky long-term dangers like overdosing and rehabilitation. If you find yourself addicted to a drug, just take more drugs! Fixer will temporarily remove the effects of withdrawal, and a doctor can give a dosage of mysterious medicine that removes any and all addictions in your systems. What else is there to say really? Whoever said that drugs are bad for you clearly didn't play Fallout, where being addicted to meth, booze, steroids and morphine all at the same time can be fixed up in a matter of seconds with just a little bit of spending money.
