The Fallout series has so much lore and content to explore that it's inevitable a film studio will see potential in it. If it did happen, it'd be a case of 'take my money!' but after the release of the original game back in 1997, Interplay's film division teamed up with Brent V. Friedman to work on a film treatment. Friedman's writing credits include work on Star Trek: Enterprise and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation and his treatment tells the story of the character's journey to obtain the GECK and defeat the Master. It's pretty basic stuff but it's made more interesting when you consider that Friedman quite openly released his treatment online in 2011 for everyone to read. Have a look and see what you think because it's certainly an idea worth exploring. The prospect of a modern-day Fallout film with a strong story, setting and incredible actors would be salivating, money-making stuff. Are there any we missed that everyone should know?
