15 Most Disappointing Video Games Of The Decade
3. Crackdown 3
Rounding off the trio of terrible threequels, Microsoft haven't had a great generation in terms of must-play first party exclusives, and Crackdown 3 is the ultimate example of just how much they dropped the ball.
This was a title announced alongside huge promises: it was to make use of cloud technology for a fully destructible open world, it was to be the killer app for the 'world's most powerful console' the Xbox One X, and it was to revitalise a fan-favourite series that had long been underserved.
Of course, it didn't follow through on any of those promises, and after a whole bunch of delays and downgrades, was farted out in early 2019 to little fanfare. Though it was a game in development for a long time, it felt like a product made in 12 months that had been sitting on the shelf since 2010.
