What is a final boss battle without the antagonist hopping into a giant jet powered mech suit?

Ratchet & Clank understood this, and it's exactly what you get. Preceding the fight, you get to grind along rails chasing Nefarious down before shooting him as he tries to use the power of what's seemingly a sun, to destroy you. Everything about Nefarious' plan just screams 'super villain'.

What makes the final battle in the newest Ratchet & Clank - which actually looks like a very pretty game by the way - memorable, is how old school it actually is.

Remember the simplistic boss battles of games like Crash Bandicoot, and remember how much you loved every single one of them? This final battle bleeds of a simpler time, where QTE's didn't run rampant and boss battles were a test of consistency mixed with mini puzzles. It's a good throwback, and a tribute to every 3D platformer you played growing up.
