15 Most Hated PS4 Games So Far
14. Mighty No. 9
Speaking of killing things stone dead, Mighty No. 9 - despite not being affiliated with Mega Man officially - closed the casket on anything relating to the character with a resounding slam after this disastrous performance.
We're talking about a game that was Kickstarted into being with such an overwhelming response, developers Comcept and lead director Keiji Inafune (who had previously worked on Mega Man and a ton of other projects) didn't know what to do with all the cash.
As such, they started developing crowbarred-in multiplayer scoreboards and ports to literally every console imaginable - basically, everything other than refining the gameplay and graphics.
The end result was a game stretched so thin in so many different directions, it felt completely regressive - and not in a cool, Shovel Knight-kinda way. Mighty No. 9 suffered one of the most embarrassing launch trailers of all time that did nothing but p*ss off any remaining supporters, yet little did we know, the game was going to be even worse to play.
