12. Battlefield: Hardline

Not gonna lie, until I saw the umbrella menu pop up in Battlefield 1 that tracks your progress across all of DICE's games, I straight-up forgot Hardline even happened.

Doomed from the start, at the tail-end of 2014 (one year after we witnessed the tire fire that was Battlefield 4) EA attempted to roll out 'another Battlefield' and sell it as the a worthwhile instalment, only for literally everyone to scream, "You have got to be kidding, right?!"

Hardline was criticised as being 'glorified DLC', to which EA somehow cobbled together and bolted on a 'campaign' of cutscenes and buddy cop clichés, before pushing it out the door and receiving a fanfare akin to a wet fart.

People didn't want it, they didn't play it, and if you're anything like me, you barely even remember it.
