4. Alma - Ninja Gaiden

Back to Ninja Gaiden for the second and last time, as I simply couldn't not include this spawn of Satan herself, Alma. Coming literally out of nowhere, you'll then have to contend with some of the most annoying attack animations in the history of action games, seeing her teleport around the arena, lob massive concrete slabs your way, lift you up in un-interruptible grapple animations and just generally BE A CONSTANT PRESENCE RIGHT IN YOUR FACE BECAUSE OH GOD. Worst of all is Ninja Gaiden's camera, which although you can tweak with the right stick, attempts to aid you in pointing in Alma's direction at all times; a rather large problem when she refuses to stay still. The second you lose in one swift attack even though Alma was a couple of button presses away from defeat because the camera decided to look at the floor when she teleported is... indescribably infuriating.
