15 Most Underrated Nintendo 3DS Video Games Of All Time

6. Final Fantasy Explorers

Final Fantasy makes another appearance on the list, and for good reason. Explorers is a sweet little game. I say little, but there’s really quite a lot of fun to be had. It’s a bit like Monster Hunter, but with a Final Fantasy flavour.

In simpler terms, you explore a large world, broken up in to numerous smaller areas, whilst hunting and taking down various monsters and bosses. The battle can range from small encounters with a handful of critters, to epic fights with gargantuan beasts, all famous faces from the Final Fantasy series (Shiva, Ifrit, etc).

There are a boat load of classes and fighting styles too, that you can unlock as you progress and complete certain missions. Don’t forget to try teaming up with friends, to explore together and help take on the humongous enemies. It’s also not that expensive to buy, which is always a treat. Combat is fast and fun, and great for both quick bus-rides or dedicated gaming sessions.

We’ve had plenty of similar games in recent years, and to the untrained eye, Final fantasy Explorers may look like ‘just another one’, but there is more than enough to set it apart and provide a different experience.
