15 Most Underrated Nintendo 3DS Video Games Of All Time
7. Mario Golf World Tour
Mario sports games always seem to go down a treat.
Regardless of whether they’re crazy free-for-alls with magical power-ups, or more faithful representations of a sport, the branding of the Mario series always brings the fun and charm, so that pretty much anybody can enjoy the activities at hand. That’s even if you don’t know how to play golf, as World Tour provides engaging, foolproof tutorials on the rules and gameplay mechanics.
It’s really nice to be able to play a round of golf on the go too. It’s not something that requires precision interaction and attention (unless you’re going for a high score, of course), so it’s something quick and fun you can enjoy on a commute. Whilst the game is of course, fantastic, it didn’t seem to have a lot of staying power and what little fanfare it released to quickly died out.
It doesn’t really break new ground, but it doesn’t really need to. It’s definitely worth giving this one another look. I enjoyed it, and I don’t even really like golf.
