12. The Elder Scrolls V: Collector's Edition
How much it costs: £200+ (new) Like I said, Bethesda knows their stuff when it comes to enticing the money out of a nerd's wallet. But hey, if you're as much a sucker for these types of things as I am, Skyrim's Collector's Edition is probably one of the most economic of them all. A high quality statue of big bad Alduin, glossy art book, cloth map and, of course, the actual game included in the box are the sorts of merchandise you just can't get elsewhere, the same reason why all of its separate pieces can fetch a high price even when sold individually. Unfortunately, it seems that most people that bought this particular special edition on day one opted to yank open the box so they could display that fearsome-looking dragon on their mantelpiece. A sealed copy isn't unobtainable, but you're looking at dropping a bunch of cash on one if it happens to cross your path.
