EVERYONE has been waiting years for this one, right? The Monday Night Wars are more relevant than they ever have been since they ended with the WWE retelling the story of the feud with a series on the Network. And with WWE having so many former WWF/WCW talents under contract, it is the perfect time for 2K to promote this as a feature. With Sting now on board, one would presume that the only potential stumbling block would be Goldberg on the WCW side of things. He would drive a hard bargain to be included in the game. Although he was included in WWE 2K14, so there is a deal to be done there. This would be the ideal opportunity to have all the main sequences of events detailed as one. Meaning that while you were playing a huge match on WCW for example, if something mega happened on Raw at the same time, you would have the option to jump over to the other side and play that, before coming back to finish the WCW match if you wanted to. Complicated, but that's how most fans operated during those times, picking and choosing their moments to watch a certain brand. Obviously this would be a fantastic mode to incorporate the library footage Vince McMahon acquired when he bought his competition. You'd have to think it is just a matter of when and not if WWE and 2K Sports decide to make this the main selling point of their marquee game. We can't wait.
