6. Spending More Time Crafting Weapons Than Actually Using Them
Dead Space 3's saving grace is without a doubt its deep crafting system. There are so many combinations and permutations at your disposal, it can get very overwhelming when you're the kind of perfectionist or completionist who needs to craft their perfect arsenal, a majority of the guns in which you won't use. Want a quadruple barrel shotgun that shoots fire? You can do that. How about an assault rifle with acid rounds? Totally possible. Maybe an assault rifle that hits enemies with stasis and has an underslung tesla gun? You can create that, too. With all of these cool combinations, you'll want to try them all, and in order to get it just right, you'll be spending a lot more time at the workbench making weapons than actually shooting Necromorphs with said guns.
Ken was born in 1994, and before the turn of the century, he was already a gamer for life, starting with Pokémon Blue Version. He has a passion for storytelling, especially in the gaming medium. Growing up on a healthy diet of JRPGs and point and click adventure games, young Kenny grew up playing Nintendo and Sony consoles, before becoming a snobby member of the PC Master Race. Nowadays, he resides in a time warp, refusing to believe the nineties ended as he fills up his Steam library with old point and clicks and cRPGs.
