The brave few who have the stones to take on Dead Space 2's Hard Core mode are in for a mentally debilitating experience. With so many instant deaths lurking around each corner - each poised to set you back five to ten hours - you are understandably going to become more than a little paranoid. You'll begin crawling at a snail's pace in anticipation of Exploders, Cysts, and worst of all, the dreaded Eye Needle and Ubermorph room. Cornered by a group of undead kids? Dead. Hit by a broken door? Gibbed. Accidentally shoot out the glass window on a space station? You died, kiddo. Keep that in mind the next time you see an air vent or hear a strange noise.
Ken was born in 1994, and before the turn of the century, he was already a gamer for life, starting with Pokémon Blue Version. He has a passion for storytelling, especially in the gaming medium. Growing up on a healthy diet of JRPGs and point and click adventure games, young Kenny grew up playing Nintendo and Sony consoles, before becoming a snobby member of the PC Master Race. Nowadays, he resides in a time warp, refusing to believe the nineties ended as he fills up his Steam library with old point and clicks and cRPGs.
