15 Resident Evil Games - Ranked From Worst To Best
From the City to the Corps and back again.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will be arriving in just a few short weeks, and no doubt fans are excited to see the franchise return to its roots - which can be quite literal, considering the Baker compound is overgrown with forestry, swamps and alligator faeces.
To put it into perspective, there aren't even seven mainline Resident Evil games, there are eleven, which is a considerable amount of entries for any franchise, and that's without counting all the side games.
Speaking of counting, with RE7's release close at hand, now is as perfect a time as any other where we can look back on the past of RE before its future arrives and rank the Resident Evil games from worst to best.

15. Umbrella Corps
What the hell happened here? Some kind of experimental, mishmash of pure failure. Someone at Capcom decided to take the Mercenaries mode, extract any fun out of it and smash it together with Operation Raccoon City.
A strange camera angle and field of view, repetitive "single-player" missions and even repetitive dialogue, there are only so many times you can play a collect-a-thon and hear your HUNK-wannabe declare "This one's mine" over and over again.
Oh, and there's also multiplayer, where Capcom make great use of rehashing old RE levels to cash in on all the nostalgia.
