15 Resident Evil Games - Ranked From Worst To Best
6. Resident Evil: Code Veronica
Strangely, one of the easiest RE games to forget about, and that's not because it's bad, it just seems to slip the mind when ruminating on the series as a whole.
Code Veronica works - as the developers describe it as - a true sequel to Resident Evil 2 being made more or less at the same time as Resident Evil 3 and takes place three months after it.
One-half of the game is spent in the shoes of Claire Redfield with a few brief moments of playing as Steve Burnside whilst the other half you play as Chris Redfield all in a bid to survive an outbreak on Rockfort Island and an Antarctic Research Facility.
Code Veronica retains the usual survival horror elements from the previous instalments, but instead of pre-rendered backgrounds Code Veronica switched to real-time 3D environments and camera movement, a first time for the series.
