14. It's Too Heavily Scripted - A Way Out

Though Josef Fares' (Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons) new co-op action-adventure game has the potential to be one of the most intriguing multiplayer experiences of the year, recent gameplay footage has some fans questioning just how much interaction the player will actually be granted.

Gameplay from a hospital escape sequence seems to suggest that the game will be more heavily scripted than many were expecting, and the possibility that much of it will effectively be an on-rails, aggressively linear QTE experience with little for the player to do but merely push on ahead.

Considering A Way Out was sold to players as a thrilling co-op adventure where anything can happen, it'd be a shame if it ends up relying too much on generic gameplay elements and feels frustratingly constrained.
