15 Terrible Mistakes That Almost Ruined Grand Theft Auto

15. The (Continued) Wait For Heists (GTA V)

When GTA Online launched on October 1st of last year, Rockstar made it clear beforehand that it wouldn't be launching with the hugely anticipated heist missions, which would be patched in at a later date. Still, the months passed by and players heard little from the developer on how heists were progressing, and after a projected spring 2014 release date came and went without the patch arriving, players quickly began to lose interest and moved onto other games. It's now almost exactly a year since GTA Online kicked off, and heists are nowhere to be seen, with it being widely expected that they may launch with the next-gen remastered edition of GTA V hitting stores in November (though if this is true, Rockstar is downplaying it). If that date passes and heists still haven't arrived, then Rockstar screwed up even worse than gamers thought: what could possibly be taking them so long to get the mode right? The sad thing is that, now that the PS4 takes pride of place in many gamers' homes, they might not be too keen to get their PS3 out again to play heists when they're finally out, considering that most people won't be buying the remastered edition.
