15 Things Only Call Of Duty: Warzone Fans Understand

10. Being Spray-Painted In The Gulag

Another Gulag quirk here. Spray paints and emotes in battle royale were first popularised by Fortnite.

Naturally, it only makes sense we have some in Warzone. Spray paints in Fortnite aren’t too much of a big deal given the colourful nature of the game. However the same cannot be said for Warzone, particularly in the Gulag. The colour scheme in Warzone (particularly the Gulag) is dark which makes these sprays stand out a bit more than in the colourful world of Fortnite.

If you are standing still whilst waiting for your turn, the chances are you’ll be sprayed bright red making it easier for your opponent to see you. Realistically, this doesn’t even make too much of a difference but you're always left wondering what could have been if it wasn’t for being sprayed red. This is more of a psychological thing than anything.
