15 Things Only Rainbow Six: Siege Fans Will Understand

2. Getting Killed Outside Before The Enemy Is Detected

I've already mentioned that both attackers and defenders have strict locations they're supposed to stick to in multiplayer matches, with the latter being lit up on the HUD for the former to track down if they attempt to venture outside and fight them there.

However, just because players aren't supposed to leave their stations doesn't mean they haven't found ways to do it. Because there's actually a delay between leaving the area and being detected, and players can sneak up on you outside before you even know they're there. With your guard down, these borderline-cheating players can easily take you out when you're least expecting it.

If I had my way, I wouldn't allow enemy players to leave the building at all, but the developers have decided to keep it in as a viable tactic. That doesn't make it any less infuriating when the hunters turn into the hunted though, and it getting pegged by someone running outside and heading back to safety before any of your team has an idea that they're there never stops feeling cheap.
