15 Times Video Games Mocked You For Earning Achievements
12. DiRT Rally Wonders If You Even Have Your License
When it comes to racing, there's usually two objectives you want to accomplish before you think about winning the race: Stay on the road, and cross the finish line. In DiRT Rally, if you choose to forgo these two simple objectives, the game has a little tiny something to say.
If at any point you destroy your car beyond all repair, you'll unlock the "Mondays Be Like..." achievement, which is for "crashing so badly that it ends your rally." If you're out there constantly rolling your vehicle, running into others or into objects, you should probably give up virtual driving for a little bit.
What's even worse is that it's entirely possible to just drive directly off a cliff, effectively ending your race and your driver's life, thus forcing the game to replace your driver with someone who isn't as dead as the last one. This isn't exactly the case as there's no mention of your driver dying a horrific death at your inability to drive, but it just adds insult to injury.
