15 Upcoming Video Games You'll Play Even If The Reviews Are Terrible

1. Gran Turismo 7

Release Date: 2015/2016. The Buzz: After Gran Turismo 5 sold like hot cakes but suffered from immense launch problems and technical issues, and Gran Turismo 6 flopped sales-wise, Polyphony Digital owe fans big time. Gran Turismo 7 will be the series' first effort on the PS4, which will hopefully mean some of the flashiest visuals ever seen in a racing game. Why It Could Suck: The GT series fell off a cliff after GT5, with many criticising the lack of Premium cars, with far too many of the game's vehicles simply being upscaled from old PS2 assets. Also, the introduction of microtransactions in GT6 was widely slammed, and so the question will be: are Polyphony going to learn from these mistakes or just phone it in? This will be do-or-die time for them: they can either make a classic racer or limp along with another playable yet uninspired racing sim. Why You'll Play It Anyway: Because for many people the original Gran Turismo was their first "serious" racing game and it's the first one on the PS4. Let's face it: though a lot of people didn't buy GT6, if it had been released on PS4, then they probably would have. The sure-to-be-gorgeous trailers are going to lure everyone in, and even if the critics don't like it, it's still going to sell significantly better than the previous game. Which games are you definitely playing no matter what? Shout it out in the comments!
