Even though developers Dennaton have firmly said they're done making Hotline Miami after the plot-heavy and thoroughly more challenging second instalment, upon finishing it you'll be taken to a menu that shows what a potential sequel could look like. It's definitely meant to tie into the world-ending story of the game itself, but a post-apocalyptic Hotline would be brilliant - despite its soundtrack mostly comprising pots and pans by that point. It starts by fast-forwarding to the screen itself after the credits, to show you what Miami looks like after the nuclear blast that closes the last level, but once its rewound back to the standard menu, it's gone for good. Would you want to see a post-apocalyptic, Mad Max-style Hotline game? I certainly would, even if it is a bit of a stretch. Answers in the comments!
