8. Tomb Raider's Producer's Sexual Assault Comments

While promoting the much hyped 2012 reboot into the Tomb Raider franchise, developers at Crystal Dynamics dropped themselves into a spot of bother by describing a pre-release clip of the game as a scene of attempted rape, not to mention comments surrounding the idea that Lara would go through hell so much that "you'd want to protect her."
