3. Alan Wake 2

2010's psychological horror title Alan Wake went over well with both critics and audiences, and though Remedy Entertainment have been busy with Quantum Break lately, there was still much hope of an Alan Wake 2 announcement now that their new IP has been out for a few months.

It didn't happen, in part because Microsoft have a certain ambivalence about the Alan Wake brand sales-wise (even though it's sold pretty well for the most part). They mandated development on Quantum Break over Alan Wake 2, but now that Quantum Break's come and gone with a fairly lukewarm reception, perhaps they might be prepared to return to old faithful.

When Will We See It?: Considering that Remedy already have a working prototype of the game from years back, it's entirely possible that we could see Alan Wake 2 gameplay by the time E3 2017 rolls around. Oh, how exciting that would be.
