17 Video Games Totally Missing From E3 2017
13. Shadow Of The Tomb Raider
Even though Tomb Raider’s Senior Community Manager herself confirmed back in May that the third entry into Lara Croft's hit reboot franchise would be sitting out E3, that didn't stop fans from believing, or at least hoping, that she'd make a surprise appearance.
When Will We See It?: Though the timing felt about right for an E3 reveal this year given that Rise of the Tomb Raider was announced 15 months after 2013's Tomb Raider came out, it's possible that Square Enix is going to announce the new Tomb Raider a little closer to its probable mid-to-late 2018 release date.
The aforementioned Community Manager herself said, "This will be a quiet E3 for Lara, but we’re looking forward to catching up on her new adventure later this year", so anything from Gamescom in August to PSX in December is a distinct possibility.
