18 Best Video Game Levels Of The Decade (So Far)

4. Deckers.Die - Saints Row: The Third

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jdpnDbBAX8 The third Saints instalment took everything about the second game that was starting to develop its own identity and cranked the dial so far past eleven it broke off, before bursting into flames. What followed was a flurry of missions that to this day show the team over at Volition are some of the most talented and naturally funny people in the industry. Essentially needing to be plugged into a virtual world to complete your mission, you emerge on the other side of the digital divide as a toilet - yes, an animated lid-flapping toilet, before it only gets better/more ludicrous from there. With a pounding dubstep backing, Tron-like visuals, a tribute to the 1974 Atari classic Tank and a final showdown against a giant demon-like super-boss - Deckers.Die was the perfect example of everything the post-Saints Row 2 ideology now stands for.
