https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFqt2KMDebc Much has been said about Mass Effect as a trilogy - y'know, the whole "Does one naff ending offset years of perfection?"-debate - although now with Mass Effect: Andromeda being shown at E3, fans can finally put the negativity behind them and move on. That said, Bioware have one hell of a mountain to climb getting anywhere near the narrative highs of ME2's 'anyone can die' Suicide Mission. Literally your entire squad was primed and sitting on the chopping block during the game's final stand against the all-powerful Collectors, and if you'd not prepared accordingly, got them on your side through loyalty missions and made sure you were playing to their strengths when assigning roles on the fly - it could be game over for everyone. Even if you've since replayed this level to make sure everyone gets through, every Commander across this galaxy remembers who they lost first time through (poor Mordin...), it's just so meticulously well done and thoroughly believable, it remains one of the high-points of the entire trilogy.
