6. Skyrim Releases On Everything But Your Toaster

For Bethesda, Skyrim is the gift that just keeps on giving. In addition to initially launching on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC back in 2011, a remastered version of the game was released for PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2016, and most recently, it also landed on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation VR this past November.

And so the joke goes that, by the end of 2018, Skyrim will be playable on just about every device short of a kettle or toaster. In fairness, Bethesda certainly didn't rush their Switch and PSVR versions, the latter of which was well-received in spite of initial skepticism.

While the Skyrim gravy train is probably, finally, running its course now, especially with the possibility of The Elder Scrolls VI being announced within the next year, it's been one hell of a run for the six-year-old game.
