18 Things Only Gamers In Their 20s Will Understand
1. ...As Are Days When Games Launched Without Patches
Hell, these days even the bleedin' consoles require day one patches - the Xbox One had so many features reworked through it's time before release, the thing was completely unusable until you'd found an internet connection and remixed its innards with a bit of firmware lubricant.
Extend that out to games and almost everything you plop in either the PS4 or Xbox One will download a patch before you can play. The company's solution was "Well, you can start the game anyway and we'll delay the patch in the background" but what people really want is a workable, fully-polished product dropping out the end of the product line on day one - not an aberration on the level of AC: Unity where the face of your character matches just how freaked out you've become with the entire process.
