10. Deltarune: Chapters 6 & 7
Deltarune is solo developer Toby Fox's follow-up to his generational RPG Undertale, and began releasing in episodic format in 2018, with the second chapter landing in 2021 and the third and fourth last year.
Fox intends for Deltarune to be a seven-chapter project, and though Chapter 5 is currently intended to release in the second half of this year, it remains to be seen when we might see the closing two chapters.
There's not a tremendous amount of consistency to the chapters' release schedule so far, and as these games will mark the grand finale of the entire enterprise, Fox will presumably take his time to ensure they meet expectations.
It seems unlikely that Chapter 6 releases before 2028, and so in turn we'll probably be waiting until 2029 or even 2030 to see the seventh and final installment - at which point those precious few who've waited for the entire thing to release can finally dig into it.
