Atari’s much-loved Sprint series may have first hit the arcades some 10 years earlier, but Super Sprint was definitely the pinnacle of the franchise. The game allowed 3 people to crowd round a cabinet at the same time to race each other around a series of increasingly difficult tracks.

Cars could be upgraded by collecting spanners that littered the asphalt and only the best drivers would progress from each race. Super Sprint is still regarded by many as one of the best multi-player coin-op video games ever.
