20 Awesome PS4 Exclusives You Need To Play Before PS5
9. Detroit: Become Human
If you've ever played a game by Quantic Dream, you know what to expect. You'll be playing an interactive, story-driven adventure with button prompts throughout to guide your character, and - more than likely - the story will take a massive turn at the end, make no sense and it'll all descend into nonsense (see Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and the king of them all, Indigo Prophecy).
Thankfully, Detroit: Become Human is finally a Quantic Dream game that sticks the landing. This title, about a selection of androids and their acceptance into society not as slaves, but as actual living beings, is fascinating from beginning to end.
Honestly, given the game is all about player choice, we have absolutely no idea how they managed to play this one out. One choice can have massive, rippling effects on the story as a whole, and every playthrough you do is likely to be completely different.
It looks stunning too, with some of the best facial capture and motion work you'll find not only from this previous generation, but gaming in general.
It'll be very exciting to see what Quantic Dream are working on for the PS5!
