20 Best Ever E3 Moments

The last "proper" E3 at least delivered one of the greatest and most unexpected moments in the show's history, when during Microsoft's showcase, a cinematic trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 ended by revealing Keanu Reeves to have joined the game's cast as Johnny Silverhand.

And better yet, when the trailer ended Reeves came out to the show floor to one of the biggest audience pops in E3 history.

A visibly psyched Reeves spoke excitedly about the game and his role in it, and after mentioning that exploring the game world would be breathtaking, an audience member shouted at him, "You're breathtaking." Without missing a beat, Reeves hilariously replied, "You're breathtaking! You're all breathtaking!"

Given how many celebrity appearances at E3 have fallen totally flat because the famous person in question clearly didn't want to be there, this was a major breath of fresh air.

Keanu was clearly genuinely happy to show up, his spontaneous interaction with the crowd was great fun, and it achieved exactly what it set out to: get everyone desperate to play Cyberpunk 2077.
