20 Best Game Boy Advance Games Of All Time

2. Metroid: Zero Mission

The original Metroid was revolutionary when it came out but it's hard to go back to today. Metroid is filled with archaic design which makes it near-impossible to beat unless you have as much time as a kid in the late 80s or have a guide. Because of this, it makes sense that they ended up updating the game.

Let's get the one major criticism of Metroid: Zero Mission out of the way. Yeah, it's super linear and hand-holdy. The thing is it's so fun to play that you'll stop caring about that pretty quickly.

Exploration is still there, just maybe not as much as there is in something like Super "still the best game in the entire series" Metroid.

It's also one of the most fun games in the entire series introducing moves that Samus wishes she had in the original Metroid.

Metroid: Zero Mission manages to be the perfect starting point in the series. Not only is it the beginning of the story but many people find the nature of the other games overwhelming, Zero Mission is a nice way to give them that Metroid bug which will result in them playing everything the series has to offer over the course of a single week.
