16. Sonic Advance 2
Sonic Advance 2 is a part of the Sonic Advance series because every game on the GBA has the word Advance in it so we don't forget what system we're playing on.
The series was a blessing whilst Sonic was pissing around on home consoles at the time. These titles are almost as good as the Sega Mega Drive / Genesis games and were a perfect place to go for any Sonic fan who was just tired of what the series was doing on consoles at the time.
Whilst all three of them in the series are great, Sonic Advance 2 has just slightly better level design than the other two, so it wins.
It's just a classic Sonic game, Sonic Advance 2 is so classic that it involves Dr. Eggman kidnapping small woodland creatures, I thought he got out of that weird phase. The gameplay is fast even for a Sonic game and the level design here is amazing, mixing the faster moments which every entry in the series needs with platforming to stop it from becoming mindless.
The game also introduces Cream the Rabbit who is the most adorable Sonic character ever, Sonic Advance 2 deserves respect for that alone.
