20 Best Gamecube Games Of All Time

2. Resident Evil 4

CapcomCapcomWhere to begin? The game that singlehandedly overhauled the action genre and simultaneously killed survival horror as we knew it. Originally a Gamecube exclusive, the game later was ported to PS2, but the Gamecube version was the better bet. The Gamecube version still remains the better version, looking visually superior to its PS2 counterpart, yet what made Resident Evil 4 so compelling wasn't just its visuals. The chilling opening village, the (at the time) thrilling quick time events along with the introduction of the most open environments ever to be seen in an action game made Resi 4 a positively groundbreaking and awe-inducing gaming experience. Its not often that a single game comes along and changes the medium completely, but that's exactly what this one-time Gamecube exclusive did. An absolute must play for anyone that calls themselves a gamer.
