Following three awesome plunder-heavy capers fronted by Nathan Drake, it seemed like a strange turn to suddenly go from that into zombie-infested survival horror - but that's before you realise Naughty Dog were planning The Last of Us even back in 2011. Right at the beginning of the game when you first get control of Drake and must fight your way out of a bar brawl, take a moment to scour the bar itself. There you'll find a newspaper (The Overseer, itself a rip on the UK's The Guardian) with the headline "Scientists are still struggling to understand deadly fungus" as well as a wink towards British stereotypes and the nation's love of animals with "Why we love our pets" sitting in the top corner.
