Sure, we can all marvel at what Klei did with Mark of the Ninja, but it owes all of its success to this little gem; Tenchu, released on the PlayStation in 1998. With limited technology and resources, Tenchu still manages to become one of the finest stealth ninja games ever made. It also features two protagonists that are both equally as fun to mess around with, meaning you get double the ninja fun. Everything you do in the game has weight to it, making all your actions seem credible and realistic. A ton of tools and gadgets are also at your disposal, showing that a smart ninja comes prepared.
