It might seem slightly off kilter to claim that the greatest boss in a zombie game is actually a living, breathing tiger, but Snowflake was such a brilliant idea that developers Blue Castle deservedly find their creation in amongst the other entries in this list. After all, you're fighting a performing tiger during the zombie apocalypse, what more could you want?

The trained pet of notable undesirable Ted Smith, who plans to feed you to her, Snowflake can either be hacked at with an axe, battered with a hammer, or alternatively tamed with a couple of steaks and taken back to the relative comfort of your safehouse. Regardless of how you overcome her, Snowflake's a concept is a change of pace that Dead Rising sorely needed.

Taking the monotonous slow-pace of merely swinging away at zombie hordes, and adding something that was big, imposing, and much quicker than you were, she was a wonderful concept perfectly executed.
