20 Best Video Game Reveals From E3 2018
14. The Division 2
If Ubisoft have succeeded in any way over the past few years, it's by standing by games which stumbled out the gate. Instead of leaving them to die after a rocky launch, with titles like The Division, Rainbow Six: Siege and Ghost Recon: Wildlands the developer opted to support its online releases with constant updates and changes - often free - in order to cultivate a fanbase that sticks around.
Consequently, despite The Division receiving something of a kicking when it released back in 2016, its sequel is on sturdier ground than ever. Swapping out New York's perpetual Black Friday Christmas in favour of a more vibrant Washington D.C. setting, the developers have asserted that they've listened to feedback and attempted to make the sequel everything the original should have been.
Even in the trailer it's clear that teamwork is more essential, the open world more varied and enemies less prone to taking five clips to the face before going down. These changes, combined with Ubisoft's unwavering support of their multiplayer games, has managed to win over even the biggest detractors of that controversial first effort.
