Release Date: December (hopefully...) What It's About: The latest entry into one of the most popular and enduring racing game series of all time, and the very first on the PS4. The Buzz: After Gran Turismo 6 was ill-advisedly released on the PS3 right at the end of its life cycle and bombed in sales, Polyphony will look to come surging back with GT7. With Polyphony praising the PS4's far simpler development capabilities, they won't have any excuses if, like the last two games, fans end up frustrated with piecemeal elements that don't quite come up to scratch. Will It Be Any Good?: Visually, it should be an absolute knock-out, though Polyphony did unfortunately confirm that the widely-criticised standard car models (which simply upscale assets from Gran Turismo 4) will return. If the online racing works properly on day one, that'll be an immediate improvement, yet even though the last two games were totally worth playing, it makes sense to wait until the reviews are out to pick this one up.
